Thanks for the clear report and root-cause analysis. The reasoning makes sense: `ArrayType` is not a `CompositeType`, so a schema whose only DECIMAL fields live inside arrays never enables the decimal-preserving mapper setting. A PR extending `hasDecimalType` to recurse into array element types (including nested arrays and rows) is welcome; please include the three failing cases from `JsonRowDataSerDeSchemaTest` as regression tests. The plan to document the side effect on bare numeric tokens mapped to STRING siblings (EN/ZH docs plus upgrade notes) sounds good, as does keeping the scope to the plain JSON schema traversal.
