fatmanverse opened a new pull request, #12891:
URL: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12891

Follow-up to #12801 (#12797). Test only, no production code change.

   ### Purpose of this pull request

The triage of #12797 asked the fix to "prove the zero-seconds case and a
source/sink round trip". #12801 covered the zero-seconds case in
`XmlWriterTest`, but no unit test reads the sink output back with the XML
source.

   This adds `XmlWriterTest#testDefaultFormatsRoundTripThroughXmlSource`. It
writes rows with `XmlWriter` using the sink default formats, including a
timestamp with zero seconds, then reads the XML with `XmlReadStrategy` using
the source defaults and checks that the DATE, TIME and TIMESTAMP values come
back unchanged. It runs in element mode and attribute mode. Before #12801 the
source failed to parse `2026-01-02T10:13`.

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

   No.

   ### How was this patch tested?

   `./mvnw -pl seatunnel-connectors-v2/connector-file/connector-file-base test`
on JDK 17: all tests pass.
