Classification: A / Connector-V2 Kafka tombstone handling for Avro sources. The two failure paths are confirmed on current `dev`: Avro dereferences a null value before a tombstone guard, and the Kafka skip handler dereferences the same null value while formatting its log message, which prevents the offset from advancing. #12927 is the focused implementation lane. Treat a null tombstone as a normal no-row record, independent of `format_error_handle_way`. Keep the emitter's error-skip path safe for null values from any format, and include topic/partition/offset context without assuming a message body exists. The regressions should cover null and empty values with and without schema-header stripping, both error-handle modes, offset advancement, and the existing Kafka E2E path. The connector documentation is the right place to state the tombstone behavior. Please continue in #12927. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
