Closing this issue as completed after rechecking the original report and its resolution. The agreed initial comment-DDL event model has been implemented: dedicated table/column comment events, MySQL parsing, explicit dispatch behavior for unsupported sinks, and related data/recovery coverage. Resolution evidence: - [PR #11025](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/11025), merged into `dev` on 2026-08-16 ([merge commit `ba55ef965ee3`](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/commit/ba55ef965ee3c8c489f5a95d4a739f553c14c439)). The corresponding implementation remains present in [`dev` at `14a27ac26a0a`](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/commit/14a27ac26a0a71b56722f86cdf8ec2779094ceaf). This closes the agreed MySQL-focused initial event-model slice.
