Closing this issue as completed after rechecking the original report and its resolution. `engine_runningJobMetrics` now uses `NoOpMapStorage` instead of persistent WAL storage. Live in-memory metrics and the persistence of the other engine state remain available, addressing the original running-metrics disk-growth concern.
