Synced this branch with current `dev` (`d676f91b3d6aaa2cca693816697a211e4d384805`) in `c74d0578b0727ba6cda278710ce6d0d67d3c6aeb`. The alias implementation and existing regression assertions are unchanged; the final PR still contains the same nine files. I checked the failed jobs on the previous head directly: the JDBC DDL lane failed downloading a Jetty JAR with Maven Central HTTP 502, and the connector lane failed while starting Couchbase with an HTTP connection reset. A narrow job rerun was unavailable for that old job. This sync incorporates the later upstream Couchbase startup retry/diagnostic fix (#11845) and subsequent baseline updates. Scoped Spotless passed for API, JSON format, and transforms; independent source/scope review passed. The remote new head is mergeable, but GitHub had not yet reported its CI checks at immediate readback.
