Merged current `dev` and repaired the restore-path overlaps in `f123d28c0dffb4ade2044a43ca1af058c28d332a`. The merge preserves upstream schema-propagation gating, history replay, split pruning and acknowledgement tests. JDBC checkpoint-enabled commit boundaries and restored-schema state now use independent constructor flags. Regression coverage includes an actual old class-layout byte fixture, recovered XA state, exact restored row values/size and optional writer-state validation; scoped formatting and whitespace checks passed. The requested Flink/Spark follow-up (review item F7) is now tracked in #12983, with the exact collector paths, inherited no-op contract and bounded acceptance criteria. It is not an adapter implementation or validation claim; this PR's collector restore guarantee remains Zeta-specific.
