I'll open a focused follow-up PR on the current dev, reusing the opt-in key_encoding (LEGACY / LENGTH_PREFIXED) approach from #12839 for the Elasticsearch/OpenSearch shared serialization path, while keeping the existing delimiter-based _id as the default. I'll add the requested tests (collision case, exact legacy default ID, single primary key, null values) and update the EN/ZH connector docs.
