Thank you @DanielLeens for investigating JDBC catalog compatibility and contributing the proposed fallback, tests, and review follow-up. We appreciate the time spent tracing how URL validation and catalog creation interact. Closing this PR because its proposed mechanism no longer matches the current implementation. The related validation changes were merged in [#11165](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/11165) and [#11106](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/11106). Current validators no longer emit the exact database-name exception this fallback matches, and the injected `database` option is not consumed by the relevant SQL Server and Oracle catalog factories. The remaining logging and test changes do not provide an independently needed runtime correction. Your investigation, proposed tests, and authorship remain preserved in this PR and its discussion; the merged links explain how the validation path has evolved. If a specific URL/configuration still fails on current `dev`, please share a reproducer so we can reopen the discussion and develop a focused fix against the current catalog contract.
