The CI fact in my [existing full review of this exact
head](https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12640#pullrequestreview-5720698439)
has changed. That source review is already published; this is a gate
clarification, not another full source review on the same version.

Source status: the existing review found no blocking source issue. Its
non-blocking suggestions are unchanged.

   The [exact-head fork
Build](https://github.com/DanielLeens/seatunnel/actions/runs/41158679820) is
now `completed` / `failure`, attempt 1. Job conclusions: success=84, failure=1,
skipped=11. The failed [unit-test / JDK17
Ubuntu](https://github.com/DanielLeens/seatunnel/actions/runs/41158679820/job/124428971638)
reports RestApiHttpsForTruststoreTest.before:83, Node failed to start!,
after300 seconds (692 engine-server tests, zero assertion failures, one error).
This occurs in the engine-server prerequisite before the changed starter test
executes. The available log establishes a startup failure, not its deeper
cause. The same REST fixture is unchanged in latest dev; no demonstrated
upstream fix makes a sync the remedy. After checking for an active newer
attempt, retry that failed job and retain node logs/XML if it repeats.

The current base comparison is recorded separately. Missing Apache check
adoption is distinct from the fork conclusion, and neither is an effective
independent approval. Daniel is the author and has READ repository permission.

   Checked 2026-11-01T12:11:15.529555+00:00; unchanged head
`806d9f30d0253052d0bb4695b8e79de96561d6ba`, base `dev`; compare `diverged`,
ahead 3 / behind 9; merge `blocked` / `BLOCKED`; review decision
`REVIEW_REQUIRED`. Behind/diverged is recorded independently and does not
itself request a sync. Daniel has READ repository permission.
