It would be great if by default users are granted access to their own home
directory (/user/<username>) without having an administrator grant them URI
access. Explicit access does not scale well and requires frequent policy file
changes. Having this feature would allow users to export query results as
files in their home directory on HDFS.
As part of this, there should be a global configuration to disable this feature.
