As mentioned in SENTRY-722, URI privilege grants must be fully qualified
(hdfs://NN:port/path or file:///path), but Hive allows adding grants on plain
paths (e.g. '/data').
Impala automatically and consistently auto-prepends the hdfs://NN:port to such
paths already.
Requesting that Hive do the same.
