Description:
This is the simplest projection in principle, but quite different from all
other projections in the implementation details because it can be represented
by an affine transform instead than non-linear formulas.
This projection is described in §1.3.14.1 of IOGP Publication 373-7-2 –
Geomatics Guidance Note number 7, part 2 – April 2015.
*Note:* We do not provide _"Pseudo Plate Carrée"_ (EPSG:9825) at this time
because that pseudo-projection is only the identity transform. Even the
semi-major and semi-minor axis lengths are set to 1.
