The code can be ported from Geotk, after IP review and rewrite of some
formulas. The series expansion has been removed from the
{{PolarStereographic}}, since it was actually identical to the series expansion
done for the {{Mercator}} and {{LambertConformal}} classes. We use the shared
code instead.
