Martin Desruisseaux resolved SIS-9.
-----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
While this task is not completely finished (we are still missing the EPSG
database), the WKT and GML support now provide us two ways to specify the
spatial reference system.

> We should really support the ability to move between multiple spatial
> reference systems. Right now, we are implicitly assuming WGS84, but there are
> plenty of others, e.g., North American Datum of 1983 for one. As part of
> this, we should support conversion between different geoids, the ability to
> parse and read existing files and determine their reference system (maybe
> this should be an issue in itself), and conversion functions to take SIS data
> and go back and forth. Of course, this has large implications on distance
> functions, existing geometric operators and spatial comparators.
