Jeeva, in the future please do not exercise commit privileges not granted by
the project to modify project version control repositories without first
acquiring permission from the project members to do so.  Where commits are
required for the immediate stability of the platform, of course, it may not
be reasonable to obtain such permission from every project whose
repositories might be affected.  In such situations, giving as much notice
as possible -- and making only the minimal changes toward that stability --
would be appropriate.  (Unless I'm mistaken, your change does not address an
immediate stability problem, though.)

I say this not merely as it applies to the Subversion project, but as a
general statement about the reasonable expectation of project autonomy of
projects hosted at Tigris.org.
