Jochen Kemnade commented on TAP5-1764:
--------------------------------------
Is this still an issue with 5.4-beta-35? If so, can you create a stripped down
example that doesn't require Hibernate and includes all the necessary custom
classes?
> AjaxFormLoop doesn't update when loaded within Zone using encoder

> Key: TAP5-1764
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAP5-1764
> Project: Tapestry 5
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: tapestry-core
> Affects Versions: 5.3
> Reporter: George Christman
>
> When you nest an AjaxFormLoop within a tapestry Zone with visible set to
> false while using an encoder, fields are not getting updated on submit. I've
> found you can create new rows which works perfectly fine. When the zone is
> triggered to visible true, the toClient within the value encoder appears to
> be called, however when modifying an existing record, the toValue within the
> value encoder isn't being run.
> please see the mailing list for code sample.
