Michael Dukaczewski created TAP5-2519:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: Automatic redirection of Form URLs without POST data
Key: TAP5-2519
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAP5-2519
Project: Tapestry 5
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: tapestry-core
Affects Versions: 5.4
Reporter: Michael Dukaczewski
Starting in 5.4, the default behavior for server-side validation exceptions is
to re-render the page content immediately, within the same request
(redirect-after-post). This means that the URL of the form component is exposed
to the end user which makes it possible to save the URL accidentally as
favorites or simply reload the page in browser.
The problem is: Calling this URL leads to an error, that is not very nice for
the end user.
Tapestry should handle GET requests to urls where POST is expected with a
redirect to the url of the page
