Same check is done for Float casting. Suggest to extract a common method for
infinity/NaN check like:
```
private boolean isInfinityOrNaN(Number num) {
return (!num.getClass().equals(BigDecimal.class) &&
!num.getClass().equals(BigInteger.class) &&
(Double.isInfinite(num.doubleValue()) ||
Double.isNaN(num.doubleValue())));
