spmallette opened a new pull request, #3666:
URL: https://github.com/apache/tinkerpop/pull/3666

   The Discard Step example uses the bare none token, an invented bleep label,
and assumes the modern graph's schema without comment, so a newcomer cannot
work out why it emits only vadas and josh. Add a short paragraph that
identifies none as Pick.none and the default branch, notes the qualified form
for use outside the Gremlin Console, explains that bleep is intentionally
fictional so software vertices fall through to option(none, discard()) and are
removed, and cross-links the Choose Step and Branch Step sections for the full
option() and Pick semantics.
