your issue about deployment id should be fixed on the snapshots (will be
redeployed tomorrow). After global naming of ejb is specified and can't be
changed. deployment-id is an internal id where global naming is standard one.
Not sure you'll be able to help that much on this one but:
1) you can deploy the war on a single host (standard tomcat mecanism)
2) you can change the webapp name for one of the host
