Seems (in parts) a duplicate of the newer issue here:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TOMEE-2269
Therefore, I propose to change the issue description / title "*Upgrade to
Tomcat 9.0.12 and several core dependencies*" to avoid confusion with
TomEE-2269 and TomEE-2186.
