Hi [~exabrial],
I quickly checked the situation on this topic.
CXF has 3.2.7 on +master+ branch, however, the PR 182 which you mentioned was
NOT merged but closed. The commit that updated CXF to this version was
[https://github.com/apache/tomee/commit/a5513230e8f77a4985916f901c3eda2c5c45c6d2]
by user _deki_ on Oct 30, 2018.
In essence, this issue is resolved already.
