While working on 8.0.11 (and previously on 9.x), we encountered issues with the
release / install procedere regarding our *.tar.gz artifacts.
If we build with newer Maven versions, the *.tar.gz files aren't correctly
handled and are deployed as JAR files (overriding existing JARS.
This happens with Maven 3.8.x and does not happen with Maven 3.3.9
