I think, that it depends on how long we want to maintain 9.x (given that the
Tomcat used is already EOL), but I think, that the structure from master/main
is the better one (in terms of turn-a-around times). However, we will (most
likely) focus on 10.x rather than maintaining 9.x, so the 8.x structure might
be sufficient as well as we do not expect many commits on 9.x? Hope it makes
sense.
