Backport of #2946 to tomee-10.x. Cherry-picked with two context-only conflicts, because 10.x lacks the default OIDC definition handling from main: - `TomEESecurityExtension`: the `OpenIdAuthenticationMechanismDefinition` bean becomes `@ApplicationScoped` and keeps 10.x's `createOpenIdAuthenticationMechanismDefinition(beanManager)` call. - `AutoResolvingProviderMetadata`: `cached` becomes `volatile`. `tomee-security` tests pass (74 tests, including the new `TomEEELInvocationHandlerTest`). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
