tqchen commented on issue #4616: [REFACTOR] Initialize Unified IR Type Data Structures URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-tvm/pull/4616#issuecomment-570816598 To simplify the treatment, most of the low-level expression won't has a tensor type, although by definition it is possible to allow a var to have a tensor type and Pass them over to a function, you cannot do anything other than pass it through calls.
