Thanks a lot @tqchen , @junrushao1994 @spectrometerHBH for your clarification. I too agree on the conclusion! It makes sense now. The reasoning behind my PR was the keeping track of Buffer nodes manually in line with implementation. Which gave me some trouble when it collided with Var node names.
