To answer you question: I am not aware of any official pre-built TVM pip package existing yet. Right now, the correct approach is to build TVM from source. We are happy to ping D2L related people @yidawang, but please also be aware D2L is not part of the TVM project. We are neither aware of how it is tested, nor familiar with any of its content. Having new people learning TVM is indeed great! If you want more help, I am happy to offer personally.
