Maybe the CI nodes have harder hardware that isn't compatible with this version of cudnn? The `ci_gpu` image uses cuda 11.0 + cudnn 8.0.5, which [should be compatible](https://docs.nvidia.com/deeplearning/cudnn/support-matrix/index.html#cudnn-versions-804-805) with SM 3.5 or higher.
