Robert Schultz commented on WICKET-1018:
----------------------------------------
Just wanted to let you know that I'm not some crazy person that goes around to
projects and nitpicks.
It's just that as a new user to Wicket, examples are really important.
Once I finally discovered the longer list of examples from someone on IRC I was
so happy, yet at the same time very frustrated that I didn't see mention of it
on the main Examples link on the website.
Examples are a crucial component to learning a new system and gaining adoption
and users.
As such I felt it important enough to create a JIRA user, create a tick and
voice my concern.
> Examples page really should mention that there are MORE examples available

> The Wicket examples page here: http://wicket.apache.org/examples.html
> It only lists about 7 examples.
> There are a LOT more examples available, however nowhere on this page does it
> mention that there are MORE examples available.
> There is a link on this page: 'You can see the examples in live action
> without having to install anything.'
> The 'live action' text is linked to: http://www.wicketstuff.org/wicket13/
> Which contains many more examples, however the wording of that sentence is
> SOOO BAD.
> 'the examples' makes it seem like it's the same ones shown below, so the link
> goes unclicked.
> As a new user to wicket, this page really really needs to mention that there
> is MORE examples. The word 'MORE' is really critical.
