Thanks for the improvement, Matt! That should be easy enough to add, easiest
way probably by making the event handler method to return something like the
CONTINUE_TRAVERSAL / STOP TRAVERSAL of IVisitor.
In our software, we have used very specialised event types, and then the
children would typically not directly receive the event at all in the scenario
you describe. The children can anyway receive other types of events.
