The changes in WICKET-2126_widen_ListView_generics.patch seem to do the trick
for me -- if there are no objections, I'll ship this in before RC3.
It provides some nuisance for existing 1.4 ListView users, but the fixes should
be straightforward (as you can see in the patch).
