from my live production introspection experiences:
- if you have about 60 concurrent users your garbage collector will be called
multiple times a minute.
- if you have a memory problem the garbage collector will be called every
second :) (e.g. a query that pushes a million rows into memory but only 10 are
shown on the screen)
Therefore I think you can ignore this problem.
Don't try to pre-optimize, it is - in nearly all scenarios - a waste of time.
