The problem is not rolling out your own, the problem is maintaining it. When
changes and updates come, one has to rewrite all rolled out new classes. If
this trivial addition would be included in wicket one wouldn't need to do such
maintenance work just because of such small robust added feature.
I have now attached a quicsktart test for super easily adding this feature.
