"The site crashes" is the same information as "is not working".
I don't have iPad to test/debug your application so I can't help you much.
If you give more specific information as JavaScript errors or Java stacktraces
then we can give you some advices.
Maybe it's better to ask for help in the users@ mailing list. I guess there are
more iPad users.
