Martin Grigorov commented on WICKET-5118:
-----------------------------------------
http://openjdk.java.net/projects/code-tools/jol/ provides a tool for reading
object size.
Unfortunately it is no in a public maven repo. Maybe some day it will be
deployed in Maven Central and we can reuse it.
> split object-sizeof-agent into agent and initializer

> Affects Versions: 6.6.0

> wicket-objectsizeof-agent cannot easily be used for applications deployed in
> a web container:
> When the main classloader loads InstrumentationObjectSizeOfStrategy from
> wicket-objectsizeof-agent-x.x.jar, it fails because the implemented
> IObjectSizeOfStrategy is loaded later by the webapp classloader only.
> The module should be split into two:
> - the agent which makes the instrumentation available
> - a library containing an IInitializer which registeres a custom
> IObjectSizeOfStrategy (utilizing the instrumentation from the agent)
