Martin Grigorov resolved WICKET-5873.
-------------------------------------
       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 6.20.0

The improvement in 7.x didn't lead to any problems so far so I think it is safe
to downport the fix to 6.x.

> In AbstractResource.java, we are flushing the outputstream after writing the
> headers. Based on a comment therein, this was due to some image loading
> problem with Firefox (assuming an older Firefox build). This was fixed in
> the 7.0 branch 18 months ago:
> Please could this fix (the header flush) be backported so that the Jetty Gzip
> filter can compress CSS and JS resources.
