Martin Tzvetanov Grigorov commented on WICKET-6809:
---------------------------------------------------
For the record: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-5997 (the trigger
to move to ServiceLoader API) reported a problem on WebSphere Liberty. I am not
sure whether it is a joke or not, since I have never used it. But it is
produced by a serious company and it is a Java EE implementation server.
But yes, like 94% of the Java developers who took took the Jetbrains survey
this year ([https://lp.jetbrains.com/dv-2020/kGpNIPvqi6d0ca8BILgk/]), I prefer
to develop on Jetty and deploy on Apache Tomcat because the startup time and
thus the dev cycle is much shorter than the full blown EE servers. But this is
me! Anyone is free to use whatever (s)he wants to!

> How to reproduce:
> - Use the attached quickstart
> - deploy it on the GlassFish server with directory deployment (I use
> NetBeans which is easy) but Windows command files are provided
> - open the application in the browser
> - undeploy the application
> - try to execute the maven clean goal or try to delete the target dir
> Maven error: Failed to delete ... WEB-INF\lib\wicket-core-8.9.0.jar
> Please inspect for WICKET-4458 for how to use the ZipFileMonitor tool which
> is included in the attached quickstart. The output of the show command is as
> follows:
