maven-clirr-plugin does not well support newer Java versions. This is mainly
because Clirr itself is not maintained since a long time.
With this ticket I suggest to replace it with
[https://siom79.github.io/japicmp.]
Its latest release is from few months ago and seems to be very configurable.
