Fixing JIRA Bug #1141:

The "root-type-definition" property was not read by the schema validator during
reset.
If the schema validator is not in the pipeline when the property is set the
schema
validator will never read the value from the configuration. This bug is fixed
thanks
to the patch from Peter McCracken.
