vinishjail97 opened a new issue, #963:
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-xtable/issues/963

   `release/scripts/validate_bundled_license_texts.py` reads the bundled jar,
the shade `<includes>` and the runtime dependency tree, but it only walks tree
→ includes: it iterates `tree_coords(tree)` and skips anything not in
`includes`. An `<include>` whose artifact has left the resolved graph is
invisible to it.

This has silently shrunk the `xtable-utilities` bundle twice:
   - #841: JOL and SLF4J dropped after #822.
   - #944: `iceberg-aws` was missing while a stale `iceberg-hive-runtime`
include sat in the allowlist doing nothing.

   Proposal:
   - Also assert the reverse: every shade `<include>` matches an artifact in
the runtime dependency tree.
   - Extend the License Check job to cover `xtable-utilities`, which it
currently skips.

   Raised by @kroushan-nit in
