Reopening: on main (3c680ee6) a DATE column with `order_date:DAY:order_date=yyyy-MM-dd` is now partitioned correctly (#931), but the command from this issue, `--partitionspec order_date:VALUE`, fails with an NPE in ParquetPartitionSpecExtractor because the Parquet source only handled date transforms. #985 adds VALUE support and the same fix for RunSync. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
