After _Hadoop Group Mapping_ was written, I subsequently found a number of
other things that should be added/updated:
# static group mapping, statically map users to group names (HADOOP-10142)
# negative cache, to avoid spamming NameNode with invalid user names
(HADOOP-10755)
# update query pattern for LDAP groups mapping if posix semantics is supported.
(HADOOP-9477)
