I monitor hadoop with ganglia. And i config as: namenode.sink.ganglia.servers=239.2.11.71:8649
datanode.sink.ganglia.servers=239.2.11.71:8649 jobtracker.sink.ganglia.servers=239.2.11.71:8649 tasktracker.sink.ganglia.servers=239.2.11.71:8649 maptask.sink.ganglia.servers=239.2.11.71:8649 reducetask.sink.ganglia.servers=239.2.11.71:8649 As you see, mapreduce is in the config files.but no metrics about mr i found. even in the apache hadoop docs, no metric refer to mr tasks. http://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r2.6.4/hadoop-project-dist/hadoop-common/Metrics.html How should i got metrics about mapreduce, or what's wrong with my method?
