Tsz Wo (Nicholas), SZE updated HADOOP-6148:
-------------------------------------------

     Component/s: util
    Hadoop Flags: [Reviewed]

{code}
diff --git a/src/java/org/apache/hadoop/fs/ChecksumFileSystem.java
b/src/java/...
index 72a09bd..6f9701e 100644
--- a/src/java/org/apache/hadoop/fs/ChecksumFileSystem.java
+++ b/src/java/org/apache/hadoop/fs/ChecksumFileSystem.java
{code}
There are "a" and "b" directories in the patch. Hudson probably cannot handle
it.

+1 Patch looks good other than that.

> BTW, the path for TestPureJavaCrc32 is wrong in the previous patch. We don't
> have "core" directory anymore.
I was wrong about it. We still have "core" for the tests. See also
HADOOP-6159.

> We've seen a reducer writing 200MB to HDFS with replication = 1 spending a
> long time in crc calculation. In particular, it was spending 5 seconds in crc
> calculation out of a total of 6 for the write. I suspect that it is the
> java-jni border that is causing us grief.
