Hudson commented on HADOOP-6900:
--------------------------------
Integrated in Hadoop-Common-trunk-Commit #356 (See
[http://hudson.zones.apache.org/hudson/job/Hadoop-Common-trunk-Commit/356/])
HADOOP-6900. Make the iterator returned by FileSystem#listLocatedStatus to
throw IOException rather than RuntimeException when there is an IO error
fetching the next file. Contributed by Hairong Kuang.
> FileSystem#listLocatedStatus should not throw generic RuntimeException to
> indicate error conditions

> HDFS-6870 introduced FileSystem#listLocatedStatus(), that returns an Iterator
> to iterate through LocatedFileStatus for files under a directory or
> recursively under a sub-directory. Iterator currently throws generic
> RuntimeException to indicate error conditions. API needs to be changed to
> throw appropriate exceptions to indicate error conditions.
