line 91: include the exception in the string message, please. Same elsewhere
line 114. Instead of saying "Error connecting to HDFS", say
("error connecting to fs: " + basePath + " : " + ex, ex)
that is: the URL and path, so that you stand a chance of working out why things
went wrong. Just a thought.
