+1 for patch v009. I committed this to trunk, branch-2 and branch-2.8.
Masatake, thank you for contributing the patch. Thanks also Brahma, Akira and
Wei-Chiu for participation.
I have removed the Incompatible Change flag. The final patch only changed
implementation details in test code, so there is no compatibility concern.
