Thanks Rui. +1 on the patch and I'll commit shortly.
One nit to address in a follow-on: I think we should have a default coder key
in {{CommonConfigurationKeys}}, and use {{conf.getString}} before calling
{{CodecUtil#createRawCoder}}.
